Important Information about Ordering

  • Please use the RESOURCE LIST for a full list of SUBJECT TEXTS and STATIONERY required for each year level and subject.
  • You can order online or in-store using the provided ORDER FORM.
  • Orders will be fulfilled in two fulfillment and collection windows (see Order Collection below).
    • All orders must be submitted by 13/01/2024.
    • For early collection, orders must be submitted by 2/12/2023
  • A valid email address and phone number is required for all orders.
  • Text book availability and listed stationery prices are exclusive to Resource List orders. We do not hold any text books in stock.
  • All items are subject to supplier stock availability and may be placed on backorder list.

Ordering access to digital products

  • Some SUBJECTS TEXTS may have a DIGITAL ONLY option. These provide a Digital Access Code and are optional. They are not required if you order the physical copy of the Subject Text, as the book will come bundled with a Digital Access Code.
  • Owners of second-hand copies of the subject texts are encouraged to order the DIGITAL ONLY option to access the digital components of the text book.
  • Digital products cannot be returned or refunded. Please order these carefully.

Payment

  • Full payment is required to complete your order. Late payments risk backorder delays or cancellation.
  • We accept the following payment options:
    • Credit or Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards accepted)
    • PayPal
    • Castlemaine Office Supplies or Goldfields Toys & Games Gift Cards/Voucher
    • In-store cash payment*
      • If opting to pay in-store, you will need to select "Pay In-Store" during the checkout steps before arriving to the store to pay.
  • Customers wishing to place orders in-store, please allow up to one business day for us to process your form before payment can be made.
    • You will receive an email with the subject "Complete your Castlemaine Office Supplies Order". Follow the "Complete your purchase" button link and complete checkout prompts to finalise your order.
  • Please get in touch with Castlemaine Secondary College if you require financial assistance with payment.

Notifications & Updates

  • Notifications and updates will let you know when your order is ready to collect.
  • By default you will only receive notifications by email. To receive SMS notifications or updates via the Shop app, you must enable these yourself.
    • SMS notifications can be set from the order confirmation page after checkout, or by following the "View your order" button link in your order confirmation email (e.g. "Order CSC-1000 confirmed").
    • Shop is an app developed by Shopify and can be used to receive order and tracking update notifications on any number of iOS and Android devices. It can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Visit https://shop.app/ for download links and information.
  • Urgent messages will be communicated via SMS (mobile numbers) or by phone call (landline number).
  • Please ensure that any emails from shop@castlemaineofficesupplies.com.au do not get caught by any spam filters.

    Backorders

    • All items are subject to supplier stock availability and may be placed on backorder list.
    • Late orders may be subject to delayed order fulfilment and collection/delivery due to products being unavailable from suppliers.

    Order Collection

    • Once you have received a notification that your order is ready for collection (see Notifications & Updates), please collect your order at your earliest convenience.
    • As part of our COVID Safe Plan we will be limiting order collections to the following locations, dates and times:

    • To avoid delays at collection, please have your order ID ready to help us identify and locate your order.
      • Your order ID is the four digit number following "COS-" and can be found on emails, SMS notifications, receipts and invoices.
      • Please consider the environment when printing emails.
    • All orders must be checked and signed off on collection. Returns will not be accepted after this, except where items are deemed faulty by the manufacturer. See Returns and Refunds.

    Shipping and delivery

    • Shipping is an additional cost and is calculated during checkout for online orders only.
    • Orders marked for delivery will be sent out when all order items have been fulfilled.
      • Additional shipping fees may be charged if you wish to split deliveries.
    • Tracking details will be provided where applicable.

    Returns and refunds

    • Exchanges and refunds will be made on any goods deemed faulty by the manufacturer.
    • Refunds may be provided on textbooks that are in their original condition (including intact shrink-wrapping where applicable) only in circumstances where the student has changed subject (a letter from the school regarding this must be provided).
    • Refunds will not be provided on change of mind purchases.
    • All booklists must be checked on collection, no return claims will be acknowledged after the booklist collection, except under exceptional circumstances.
    • Digital products cannot be returned or refunded. Please order these carefully.
    • Customer is responsible for any costs incurred for returns.
