School Saving Bonus at Castlemaine Office Supplies

With the School Saving Bonus, the Victorian Government is providing a one-off $400 to help families cover the costs of their child’s school uniforms, textbooks, excursions and activities in 2025.

How to use the School Saving Bonus at Castlemaine Office Supplies

We are pleased to say that you can use your School Saving Bonus (SSB) for your children's 2025 Castlemaine Secondary College book orders.

The SSB can only be used on purchases of textbooks (stationery is not included in the scope of the grant).

To use your SSB, please follow these steps:

1. Place your order through our School Resources Ordering Portal page.
2. During Checkout, select "Pay In-Store" as your payment method.
   Please note: if there is no option for "Pay In-Store", you may need to follow the "Choose alternative payment method" link and the option will become available after the page refreshes.
3. Once you've received your order confirmation email, please contact us by emailing admin@castlemaineofficesupplies.com.au and provide the following details:
   • Your order number (eg. COS-1000)
   • The child's School Saving Bonus code
     
   • The total amount you wish to use on your order (to the maximum value of the ordered textbooks only).
     
     If your order includes multiple students, please provide each child's code and the total amount you wish to use on your order.
4. We will apply your chosen amount to your order (up to your available balance).
5. Make payment on any outstanding balance. This includes any stationery items, or the remaining balance if you have used the full amount of the SSB. 
   Please note that our collection site does not have payment facilities. All in-store payments must be made through our shop at 40 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine. 

Exchanges and Refunds using School Saving Bonus

If you wish to swap or exchange your textbook(s) for different textbook(s), we may be able to apply additional payment to the new textbook using further SSB redemption (where available). However, in the instance where the new textbook(s) are of lower value than the original redeemed amount, we are unable to provide any cash refund, or reverse any SSB redemption.

If you wish to cancel any textbook(s) from your order, we can do so but we cannot provide any refunds and cannot put money back into your School Saving Bonus.

In all exchanges or cancellation instances, our standard returns policy on school orders still applies.

We highly recommend that any exchanges, refunds or cancellations be made at collection time.
